Kuna is fifteen to twenty minutes south down Meridian Road. It's growing fast, but step off the new streets and it's still acreages, horses and farm ground, which is most of what I do there.

I drop south on Meridian Road or Ten Mile and I'm in Kuna in twenty minutes, often less. The new subdivisions in town bring the same gate and railing calls as Meridian. But most of my Kuna work is outside them, on the acreages along Kuna Road, Hubbard, Cloverdale and out toward Swan Falls and Melba. Horse properties, small cattle operations, hay ground, shops with a trailer and a tractor in the yard. In Kuna it's usually a gate a horse bent, a bucket that hit a rock, or a trailer that has to be at the sale Saturday.

What Kuna calls about most
Pipe gates and panels. Bent rails, torn hinge lugs, latches that don't line up anymore. Welded back on the post with the horses in the next pen. I carry pipe for this.
Equipment. Loader buckets, bale spears, three-point hitches, harrow frames, feeders. Fixed in the yard or at the field edge.
Trailers. Stock trailers, flatbeds and the boat trailer. Tongues, floors, gates, ramp hinges. Aluminum stock trailers too.

Trailers to the sale on Saturday
A lot of Kuna calls come in on Thursday about a stock trailer that has to roll Saturday. A cracked tongue, a floor cross-member that rusted out, a gate hinge that dropped, a ramp that won't latch. Access on an acreage
Tell me where the truck can get to. A gravel yard or a field edge is perfect. Move the animals to the next pen before I get there, and if it's dry season, hose down the ground where I'll be grinding. I bring a fire bucket, but a July pasture in Kuna wants more than a bucket.
